Biography
Dr Prithvi Raj Jampana is a Consultant Clinical Oncologist at Care Hospitals, Hyderabad, India. He trained in Internal Medicine and Clinical Oncology in the UK and worked there from 1997 to 2012. His training in Oncology was at Oxford University Hospitals and has been a practicing Clinical Oncologist in India for the last 6 years.His main areas of interest include Lung and Urological cancers. Apart from full time clinical work, Dr Prithvi Raj has collaborative projects in Hyderabad, teaching students studying Healthcare Management(MBA), and the Indian Institute of Technology, Hyderabad looking at the psychological effects on patients with Cancer. He has been involved in management activities at Care hospitals and recently completed a 52 lecture series on Health Systems Science with Prof. Arun Tiwari at Care Hospitals, Hyderabad.He played an active part in organising and conducting the Cancer diagnostics and biomarkers track at BIOASIA 2018, held in February 2018.
